Document Manager Features

The system allows for quick access to all documents in the system. Manage Notices of Intent, SWP3s, Erosion Control Plans, DMRs, Accident Reports, and much more. There is no restriction on the type of document you upload. You can store documents in ACAD, Word, PDF, and many other formats.

Familiar Folder Hierarchy	Organize your folders to ensure easy access by authorized users.
Secure Permissions	Decide which individuals or groups have the right to access or edit a documents, sub-folders or folders using our permission system.
Drag and Drop File Transfer	Move files to and from your CTSS using convenient Web Folder technology. Move a single file or drag an entire folder structure between your desktop and your CTSS.
Document Check-in / Check-out	Lock files for check-out while editing, and unlock them as they’re checked back in, so all members of a project team or department will have the latest version.
Integrated Search	Search for a document or file by title or keyword. With Advanced Search, you can also sort by, creation date, author, file size or file type (e.g., *.pdf) or by wildcarded file name so you can immediately access the file you need.
NEW: Full-Text Search Option	If you store a large number of documents on your CTSS, our powerful new Full-Text Search upgrade will help you pinpoint the information you need in seconds.
Send Link	Notify users immediately when you make changes to a document or upload a new file by sending them an email with a link directly to your document or folder.
Virus Protection	GC2 uses McAfee NetShield to protect your files from viruses. Virus Scanning is updated regularly and is set to automatically clean or quarantine any infected files that are placed in your CTSS.
Automatic Backup	GC2 Tech backs up your files using best practices backup procedures at a secure facility.
No Firewall or VPN Required	Our secure document management solution allows you to share documents and files quickly without the need to purchase, configure or maintain a firewall or VPN.
Complete Integration The Document Manager is part of the GC2 Compliance Tracking Solutions System, so it’s available anywhere, at any time, using a convenient web browser.
