Post Announcements for Everyone to See

Post important company-wide information on your CTSS home page where your employees can’t miss it. Announcements keep everyone in your group up-to-date on the most critical information they need to get their job done.

You can include simple text or add graphics, photos, colors and font changes to create online newsletters for your organization. You can even mark a new announcement “urgent” to capture your colleagues’ attention. Announcements appear on the home page of your CTSS site, so your employees are sure to see new information whenever they log in.

As part of the GC2 CTSS, Announcements is readily available from anywhere in the world using a simple web browser.

Important Information Delivered Immediately

Because it’s prominently visible on the CTSS homepage, use the Announcements application to communicate important happenings for your company, group or department.

  • Announce New Company Benefits or Policies
    Inform your employees immediately of a policy change or new benefits information. Announce deadlines for healthcare or 401K enrollments, and include a link to registration forms. 
  • Recognize Key Accomplishments in the Sales Department
    Announce big sales wins, or salesperson of the month awards to generate enthusiasm company-wide. 
  • Create a Monthly Newsletter for your Department
    Use the HTML editor to create a monthly newsletter for your company or department that includes photos, graphics, font changes and more. 
  • Post Project Team Milestone Status
    Post weekly updates on the status of a project. Copy and paste information from any document or web site, and the formatting will be preserved.

    Use the Announcements application to post current happenings and events at the home office.

    Have a vital announcement that everyone should read now? Use the Send Link feature to alert your group that an important announcement exists.
Easy Creation Post a new announcement in moments by typing simple text.
Images and Links Add a photograph or graphic to your announcement and include links to web sites or other WebOffice material.
Rich Text Editor Cut and paste documents and web graphics into the editor, and all the formatting and links will be preserved. Font sizes and colors, margin settings, even tables and pictures will all appear right in your WebOffice site.

Notification
Decide whether to notify all users immediately of a new announcement at the time you post it.
Urgent
Announcements
Mark the announcement as “urgent” and it will be featured in red at the top of the announcements list.
Expiration Dates When creating a new announcement, set an expiration date so the announcement will be automatically deleted on a given date.
Send Link Notify users immediately when you add or make changes to an important announcement by sending an email with a link directly to your announcement.

The Announcements application is part of the GC2 online collaboration suite, so it’s available anywhere, at any time, using a convenient web browser.
